Couldn't get any better.
An awesome afternoon was spent with Amanda today.Town was quiter than usual,the kids at school and adults at work.That made shopping so much easier.
We spent the day shopping for clothes and accessories,but call them school essentials this time round!What a good excuse we got there.
Double chocolate frappe @ Coffee bean when our throats were burning.
And yesterday afternoon was spent having lunch with my folks and fetching my cousin's family around.
First stop to Katong- sent Anders for his violin lesson. 2nd to parkway -to pick Amanda from work.3rd stop -Sengkang sports hall to drop some tea leaves for my coach.
We had Macdonalds on the car.We were all chatty and made a mess in the car.Love how we spent time eating in the car instead of going into macdonalds.
4th stop-Picked Anders up from his violin class and the last stop-Homesweethome!
Left the hse in 20mins and headed to Tmall with Amanda.
We were supposed to do grocery shopping @ ntuc. People say that you must know how to cook in order to do grocery shopping.So obviously,i was just trying my best to help there.And yes, Amanda assured my mum that she knew what to get.Tomatoes-lettuces-pears...etc.
So i trusted that she must be some professional at gorcery shopping.
We went to the tomatoes section and i stood there looking at the tomatoes,like how i always do when my mum picks it. And she was like "EH! Choose leh!". She didn't know how too...And that happened for the rest of the food items.
Picking vegetables and fruits had never been so tortourous! Ppl came,picked and go while we stood them like complete dummies.
I think we were just trying to pick out the perfect tomatoes that look like proper tomatos.
With more than 5 bags of grocery,we took a cab home.Chilled at her hse till i felt like going home.
That sumed up my saturday!
